Mama Irma Restaurant Review

: Mama Irma's diverse Peruvian cuisine means there are dishes for everyone, be it a simple stir-fry with vegetables in a tasty sauce, or fried yuca root with twin sauces. Irma's is known for its ceviche of shrimp, white fish, crab claw and squid marinated in a citrus mixture. Classic lomo saltado offers stir-fried sirloin strips with onions, cilantro and tomatoes, while aji de gallina combines shredded chicken in a creamy walnut and Parmesan sauce. House-made desserts vary, with such offerings as vanilla crème brûlée, corn custard, pineapple cake with icing, and Peruvian butter cookies filled with dulce de leche. With “Mama” in the restaurant’s moniker, you can expect, and indeed receive, warm attention.
