THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Mambo Grill Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Mambo offers pan-Latin culinary fusion that blends the foods of Cuba, South America and Mexico with pizzazz. The place is small, and the room gets noisy with an after-work crowd, but that's half the fun. The tortillas are terrific---soft, warm and accompanied by a tangy cumin-seasoned butter. Paella-style chicken with chorizo, mussels, shrimp and calamari has enough rice for four weddings and a bird feeder---and it’s a steal at under $20. Plantain-crusted halibut with sweet potato purée in jalapeño cream sauce also is quite good. And if, like us, you are a fan of ropa vieja, then indulge yourself with it in sandwich form when it’s available.
