| This Burbank-adjacent eatery has been serving authentic Cuban cooking for nearly fifteen years. The floor and wainscoting are checkered black tile and amber-hued candles grace black-topped tables. A counter is left over from the restaurants previous life as a coffee shop, and some Cuban-esque art is splashed on the walls. Some tables lie under an awning out front, as colorfully-stocked flower boxes dress up the parking lot view. Empanadas and creamy croquetas make good starters. Chicken or beef Milanesa, ropa vieja and Cuban sandwiches round out a short menu that also contains some American and Mexican items. Youll find some batidos (Cuban smoothies) in exotic Caribbean flavors like mamay and guanabana. Be aware that this place closes early: 8 p.m. weekdays and 6 p.m. on Saturday. |
