Mandalay Restaurant Review: Mandalay was the first Burmese restaurant in the city-and it’s lasted because the food is memorable. Our favorite dishes include the Mandalay prawns and the chicken in garlic sauce. Try the particularly tasty tea-leaf salad: artfully arranged portions of peanuts, split beans, fried garlic, fried coconut, roasted sesame seeds, dried shrimp and special tea leaves, all of which you toss yourself before eating. Rice and noodle dishes as well as curries round out the menu. |
