| Under the same ownership but with a different feel and menu, this Vienna establishment---formerly Le Canard---welcomes families and couples alike seeking a somewhat upscale but not overly costly meal on the town. Where once France influenced the menu, today’s version bears more American and Italian takes, including such offerings as smoked chorizo flatbread, black pepper and Parmesan calamari, and a Maplewood bacon and cheddar Angus burger. It’s heartening to see so many families with kids in tow, which speaks well to how management has geared the menu. To add to the ambience, the restaurant offers a live piano bar and a short but impressive wine list. |
