THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mario's Place Restaurant Review

: This cozy, romantic restaurant has long been one of the Inland Empire's most popular destinations for upscale dining. The menu features a creative approach to Italian cuisine that ranges from classic dishes to creative preparations utilizing such contemporary ingredients as ahi tuna and ostrich loin. Though generally reliable, we have found the kitchen to be heavy handed with seasonings on occasion. Special events in the bistro lounge such as Pasta Tuesday, beer or wine dinners and cigar dinners on the patio are featured regularly. Live jazz is also featured Thursday through Saturday evenings in the lounge. Besides an extensive wine list, post-dining libations include some nice late-harvest wines, muscatos and ports---some of these are just perfect with the fresh cheese platter.
