Mark's Place Restaurant Review:
Chef Mark Oyama, who teaches culinary students at Kauai Community College and has a successful catering business, serves the general public at this cheerful little takeout eatery. A couple of picnic tables out front add to its charm. The fare is grilled fresh fish, burgers, salads, and local-style plates featuring such choices as chicken katsu and teriyaki beef, all prepared with finesse. Teriyaki chicken musubu and cookies are ideal to grab and go.
