Marotta's Restaurant Review: Marotta’s long, narrow space hosts only ten tables, so be prepared for a worthwhile wait. But in warmer months, the renovated outdoor terrace nearly doubles its capacity. Earth hues and low-lit chandeliers set the tone for rustic, well-made Italian fare. Pizza, while pricey, is a must. We recommend the margherita made with a classic sauce and fresh mozzarella. Pastas are also tasty and served al dente. Try the “lugano,” which is linguine topped with smoked salmon, plum tomatoes and spinach in a steamy, rich tomato cream sauce. Desserts, including the tiramisu and gran gala crème brûlée, are house-made. Marotta's offers an all-Italian wine list --- a 300-label selection --- representing most of the country’s regions.
