Marotta's Restaurant Review: Marotta’s long, narrow space hosts only ten tables, so be prepared for a worthwhile wait. Warm earth tones and low-lit chandeliers set the tone for rustic, well-made Italian fare. Pizza, while pricey, is a must. Our favorites include the “rustica” made with sun-dried tomato pesto, roasted eggplant, garlic and red peppers as well as the “molto marotta” with artichokes, roasted red peppers, tomatoes and spinach. Try the gnocchi dumplings with sausage in a rich tomato cream sauce. Desserts, including the chocolate gelato blended with roasted hazelnuts, are house-made. Marotta's offers an all-Italian wine list --- a 300-label selection --- representing most of the country’s regions.
