Masala Times Restaurant Review:

This tiny, casual eight-table Bollywood-themed eatery in Greenwich Village boasts chairs with backs that are splashed with the faces of famous Bollywood actors. Sentences contrasting Indian cinema with Hollywood are scrawled on the walls. The food, though, is the real star --- or at least the co-star. The menu doesn’t deviate too much from the standard subcontinental fare one might find a few miles north in Curry Hill, but it all works nicely on the palate. Not surprisingly, dishes are named like the titles of Bollywood movies: Hot Secreet is really paneer tikka, delectable blocks of cheese accompanied by spicy veggies; and Top of the Charts is chicken seekh, minced fowl rolled into sausage shapes. Tender Love is something most meat lovers will like: ultra tender lamb chops. Mango lassis and tea is available to help wash it all down.
