Cool and handsome in woods and stone, Match Uptown sports sofas and easy chairs in a sunken lounge and plush banquettes in a back room---perfect for posing. The Pan-Asian influence is apparent from the sushi bar and dim-sum offerings to the seasonal and market dishes. Begin with executive chef Ivy A. Stark’s signature appetizer of a warm duck confit salad with green olive relish. Specialty entrées include rack of lamb with gingered caponata and braised lamb won tons; glass noodles with grilled sweet-water prawns, pea shoots, basil and coconut curry; and sofrito steamed Prince Edward Island mussels with fried garlic toast. A late-night menu is served until 2 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays to a trendy and chic crowd.
