Matsuhisa Restaurant Review:

Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, owner of numerous restaurants worldwide, including Nobu in New York and Malibu, launched his unique Parisian establishment in Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris. The setting includes a plush dining room with immense bay windows, a sushi bar and a lovely terrace nestled in the quiet courtyard. Meanwhile, the kitchen turns out faultlessly seasoned Japanese-Peruvian fare created with first-rate ingredients and the menu suggests many signature dishes. For a starter, we recommend the salmon tataki with Karachi sumiso, a kind of Japanese mustard with vinegar and miso; shrimp tempuras; spinach beetroot salad perfumed with truffle oil; and yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño. Main courses provide value for your money as well. The black cod from Nobu is famous thanks to its saikyo miso sauce prepared with white miso, mirin and sugar. You also can’t go wrong if you choose the Black Angus rib steak with anticucho sauce. Desserts include tasty items like the frozen whisky cappuccino and the ice cream perfumed with black beans and tofu. Add to the experience a fine selection of sakés and cocktails and a professional team.
