There aren't many seats or barstools at Matuba so be prepared for lines. The sushi here is a favorite, even though some selections sound vaguely Western, like the bagel roll or the Boston roll. If you can, grab a seat at the sushi bar---watching the action is a good show. You should also order something off the main menu, like the delicate and crispy tempura. Check out the grilled specials, too. These range from chicken yakitori to hotate yaki (grilled scallops), and for heartier appetites, the grilled seafood combo. The décor is neither glamorous or funky, but simple and fresh, just like the sushi.
