THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED MB Steak Restaurant Review:

The “MB” in the restaurant’s name stands for “My Brothers,” a reference to its creators, brothers David Morton and Michael Morton, and pays tribute to the Morton family tradition of steakhouses. The dining room features warm, dark tones, with hardwood floors and tabletops, a hardwood ceiling and wood walls. A level above, a 60-seat private dining room that is also used for overflow seating is framed with large windows that open up to allow fresh breezes and offer views of Paradise Road and the Strip. Begin with seared Sonoma foie gras with brioche french toast, strawberries and sherry reduction, or charred Spanish octopus with broccolini, stewed tomatoes and port wine. Steaks are procured from select Midwestern ranchers, are simply seasoned with a signature spice blend and include cuts of 18-ounce dry-aged bone-in New York strip, 18-ounce rib-eye and domestic, Australian and Japanese Wagyu (six-ounce) NY strip. Steaks are complemented by seafood options such as shrimp risotto with English peas, roasted onion and mascarpone cheese; and pan-roasted Alaskan halibut with tomato broth and olive relish. More than 300 wines are available, with an emphasis on big, bold reds like the 2012 Gramercy Cellars Columbia Valley Syrah. Save room for the towering seven-layer carrot cake with candied pecans and spiced roasted pineapple.
