THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Not to be confused with Mickey D’s, this landmark has been serving home-style Southern cooking in a modest, clean and friendly setting since the 1940s. A big after-church crowd fills the tables on Sundays for platters of smothered pork chops, salmon cakes and grits. There are few old-style Bedford-Stuyvesant dining establishments as friendly, or as inexpensive.
