| Ready for conversation over a spot of fine tea? Then visit this quaint and charming Victorian house. Serving traditional English comfort food lunches and topnotch afternoon teas, owner Audrey Heredia uses family recipes for her homey dishes. So, order up the shepherd's pie or stuffed cabbage and, on a sunny day, sit on the outside patio under towering eucalyptus trees. Or, consider indulging in assorted tea sandwiches, scones with cream and preserves, Edwardian cheese, artichoke salad, seasonal fruits and tea time confections. On Saturdays, a themed formal high tea is served. The restaurant’s theme changes almost monthly to reflect upcoming holidays or seasonal transitions. Reservations are required, and there are only three seating times available. |
