McCrady's, in a sophisticated space just off East Bay, is one of the oldest restaurants in Charleston. The restaurant serves a menu of refined dishes, heavily weighted toward fish and seafood. Except for occasional instances of over-salting, the execution is commendable. The wine bar makes McCrady's accessible for more than just dinner, and offers a cheese plate on Wednesday nights that works perfectly with the wines. The restaurant also holds wine tastings on a regular basis, featuring everything from Pinots to Cognacs.
