THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS The Mecca Restaurant Review

: Mmm---mention Mecca, and we start immediately salivating for one of its enormous homemade cinnamon rolls. You'll have to wait on line for breakfast here, but it will give you a chance to check out the restaurant scene, with its Formica tables, leatherette booths and memorabilia fighting for space everywhere. If you're planning to get your sugar fix from the cinnamon roll, skip the pancakes and tuck into a big plate of a thick grilled ham steak, eggs, and hash browns or grits, or a generous portion of migas. This is stick-to-your-ribs food, homestyle cooking, and every day there's a list of specials that might include chicken-fried steak, baked catfish, beef brisket, or peach cobbler, and always homemade pie.
