Although this small Fairfax eatery is located in a nondescript strip mall and is undistinguished by its exterior, Mee Ga’s staff wants guests to enjoy the best of the menu and they are ready to lend direction. The place is noted for its bulgogi, and it should appeal to all, either in the grilled or the pan-fried version. Another best selection is the bee bim bap stone-dish bulgogi with a fried egg on top. At dinnertime, the full force of the Korean barbecue repertoire goes into action. Marinated meats and seafood are grilled and paired with sides of sauces and bits of vegetables, or you can simply opt for the grilled meats served in a hot pot with rice or noodles and assorted vegetables. Whatever you choose, be assured your meal will become even more special with one of the Korean beverages, such as Sansachun. Beers and other wines are also available.
