Okay, so it's not much to look at, but Mee Noodle Shop is an outpost of fresh, simple and tasty Chinese noodle cookery in Midtown Manhattan. Mee Noodle has an extensive menu offering seven varieties of noodle --- rice stick, lo mein, mei fun --- with endless combinations of additional ingredients. There are some less authentic choices, like Mandarin and spinach noodles, but stick to the Asian variety. Try roast pork lo mein or perhaps dan dan noodles under a dense meat sauce, and with portions this large and prices low, you can afford to take a chance on something new.
