THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS This charming little storefront has taken the city by storm. People seem to be willing to wait in all sorts of weather to enter the spotless, whitewashed dining room, and be fed delicious Italian fare prepared by chef-owner Gianluca Demontis. The staff valiantly keeps up with the maddening crush, and serves large plates of roasted artichoke and sea scallops with lemon sauce, or crêpes filled with fresh ricotta and spinach under a béchamel blanket. Quail, many fish and a bistecca alla Fiorentina that's quite impressive add up to an exceptionally tasty meal with any of the wines you may bring. Even nicer, the price tag is not too steep. Noise in the dining room can be deafening, so be prepared. Arrive before the 5 o'clock opening on a weekend, and you may get in.
