THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Melting Pot Restaurant Review:
A meal at a restaurant doesn't get any more hands on than at the Melting Pot. Every table is a stovetop, complete with warmers for the fondue pots. The starters are rich and filling enough. Imagine a pot of simmering cheese in which to dip pieces of fresh bread. Heavenly. But it gets better. Choose a type of meat---we recommend the sampler platter with chicken, beef, shrimp, fish and veggies---and your choice of oil or broth. This is where the real fun begins. Dip the meat and vegetables into a batter and fry it in the pot. A meal like this is fun, if not a bit scary. Did I just eat my piece of meat, or was that the piece of raw chicken you just stuck into the pot moments ago? In the end, it all works. Did we mention the end? When the end is near, it's time to rejoice. Try the pot of milk chocolate with a plate full of treats to dip, including marshmallows, cheesecake bites and fresh fruit.
