Menara Moroccan Restaurant Restaurant Review: This whimsical place near the San Jose Convention Center has been around for over 25 years and provides a good break from the Cal-Ital places that abound. You know the Moroccan drill: seating is on pillowed couches; eating with your fingers is encouraged; and swirling belly dancers, sumptuous rugs, and silver serving pieces complete the stage set for the various set menus. On the Menara Dinner, enjoy a Moroccan salad, b'stilla, chicken with lemon, lamb with honey, and a vegetable couscous. Flaky baklava and mint tea conclude the feast. Service is warm and accommodating. |
