Aji Nippon Restaurant Review:

One of Bethesda's oldest hidden secrets, this pocket-size restaurant has withstood the test of time. And while neither trendy nor starkly traditional, it sticks to what it does best --- offering solid Japanese cooking. Aji Nippon’s fresh fish, cut just so that each slice is tender and bite-size, and its dumplings, wrapped in a tender dough, work just enough magic to keep customers coming back. We like the chirashi sushi, artfully composed on a bed of vinegary rice, and would make this a regular order here. The kitchen also offers a handful of Korean fare. Two drawbacks: This place is off the beaten track, and parking is quite scarce. If you live in the neighborhood, however, you'd have to walk pretty far to find such good Japanese food.
