American Ale Restaurant Review:

Rustic and intimate with a long communal table flanked by freestanding seating, American Ale highlights hard-to-find beers and craft cocktails, like the Old Fashioned, and burgers, a basic concept but one that people crave. You won’t find trendy plates filled with foams and micro greens. Burgers are created with a mix of beef and pork, and unusual versions include the PB&J Burger made with crisp bacon, peanut butter and grape jelly, and the Ole Southern BBQ Burger that utilizes corn chips, Havarti cheese, smoked bacon, and chipotle-peach barbecue sauce. All the burgers come with either regular or garlic fries. You’ll also find a few non-burger plates such as a grilled chicken sandwich, and bean and bacon soup with a bacon grilled cheese.
