While the South End’s flagship Aquitaine Bis remains number one on our list, this location gives Chestnut Hill exactly what it wants---cool cocktails, lounge music, a swank setting compliments of designer Peter Niemitz, and an authentic Parisian atmosphere. The kitchen offers a unique, streamlined approach to bistro cuisine (think organic horseradish-crusted Black Pearl salmon with cucumber and shallot salad, crispy capers and dill crème fraîche), while the wine list focuses heavily on bottles from France with a variety available by the glass. Crème brûlée is the must-have dessert.
