Bacco Restaurant Review:

Before Luciano Del Signore opened Bacco, he helped run his family's Fonte d'Amore restaurant in Livonia. Everything about Bacco sings Italian --- from the menu, written in Italian and subtitled in English, to the imported Italian pastas and exotic fish dishes. Try the strozzapreti norcina with its creamy sauce with house-made Italian sausage and truffles. During lunch, most guests are business-types; come dinner, it's another story, when the place draws couples in search of a more intimate dining experience. The modern setting pops, thanks to lots of colorful art. There's a full bar and wines include more than 400 hand-picked Italian bottles. As such, the staff is appropriately knowledgeable about wine, having visited the vineyards of Italy and observed the complete wine-making process. Also tucked away in the wine cellar is a selection of whites, reds, sparkling and rosés from France, Spain and the U.S. (mostly California) with a price point for every pocketbook, as well as those from Bacco’s house label, Baia Estate.
