Like at a bargain basement sale, customers attack the various counters at this Rockville restaurant as if everything will soon disappear. But this place manages its constant supply of buffet items with regimental precision. Cooks bustle from the kitchen carrying filled trays as soon as those on the counters empty. And what a lavish amount of food: Chinese, Japanese, Mexican and American dishes (including drinks, salads, desserts and nonstop dim sum on weekends) overflow their containers before the onslaught of the crowds. It's enough to feed several armies. Perhaps the best deals are the barbecued beef ribs and the dim sum offerings. Don't expect gourmet fare, but do expect plenty to eat, and at bargain prices.
