Cafe Nola Restaurant Review:

There's something inherently romantic about the notion of taking a boat to dinner, and Cafe Nola makes the perfect destination, just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle on the ferry. By day the casual setting is inviting and warm, while at nightfall it boasts candles and linen tablecloths. Chef/owner Kevin Warren uses seasonal ingredients to craft the dishes on his imaginative menu, which might feature bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo; blue corn pancakes enhanced with duck, smoked paprika sour cream and charred jalapeño pepper sauce; halibut tacos; or butternut squash ravioli tossed with brown butter sauce. For brunch, don’t miss the salmon latkes. The lunch menu also features salads and sandwiches, including a Dungeness crab melt. The selective wine list offers a range of Pacific Northwest vintages. Service is consistent.
