On the Hermosa Beach boardwalk overlooking the pier, this casual cantina is open all day for those in need of a quick bite or diners in search of a more leisure pace. For breakfast, indulge in the Acapulco omelet, stuffed with chorizo and smothered in jack and cheddar cheeses with a dollop of guacamole to finish. During lunch and dinner, the menu ranges from burritos and burgers to tostadas and Mexican specialties. Flautas are crisp and filled with seasoned beef or chicken, while Mexican pizza is made of a large flour tortilla base with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, peppers and guacamole. Steak fajitas and chicken picado --- tender chicken breast with mushrooms, pasilla, bell peppers and picante salsa --- are most popular during the dinner hours. Flan topped with Kahlúa or deep-fried ice cream are among the limited dessert options. To drink, the house special is the mango margarita, one of many tequila-based cocktails.
