China Cafe Restaurant Review:

Nowadays, there are nearly as many Chinese restaurants as there are strip malls, simply because most every strip has one. And both are often sadly undistinguished. However, we were not disappointed in China Café. In fact, the only problem you'll have with the menu is deciding which of the many dishes to try. Sit at the bar and wait for your take-out, or settle into the comfortable dining room, then savor the huge platters of dressed-up and distinctively flavored Chinese standards. We like to start with the meat-filled fried wontons. All the traditional favorites are here, but we keep coming back to the combinations, which feature everything from shrimp to beef mixed with sizzling rice. You can also select from among the staff picks with such items as lettuce wraps, fish with black bean sauce and lobster fried rice. Or sample the Korean menu, which includes noodle soup and gam poong gi, a dish of lightly battered chicken stir fried in a spicy ginger and garlic sauce. Bar selections include imported, domestic and draft beers, and martinis like the Grass Skirt (Malibu Rum, pineapple juice and Midori melon liqueur) and the Geisha, made with Absolut Pears, Pama liqueur and fruit juices. Wines by the glass are available, too.
