City Oyster Restaurant Review:
City Oyster, owned by the Big Time Restaurant Group, draws the young and trendy to its contemporary dark-wood bar. The place is sort of SoHo-meets-Delray Beach, with an exposed brick wall and pressed-tin ceiling. Food is primarily seafood with an in-house bakeshop that makes the bread, crackers, pasta and pies. There’s something for all tastes, from burgers including a seven-veggie patty to an oyster po’ boy, a New England lobster roll to fish ‘n’ chips (made with stout-battered cod), and crudos (try hamachi with watermelon, orange and smoked sea salt) to sushi and sashimi. The extensive wine list touts a wide range of mostly commercial, moderately priced selections.
