Corsino Restaurant Review:

Jason Denton (of 'inoteca) continues to expand his empire of affordable, stylish Italian spots with Corsino. Here, the formula is much the same as at his other restaurants: an expansive wine list, plenty of inexpensive small plates for noshing, and above all, an Italian flair that makes Corsino feel like much more than the sum of its parts. The décor helps; with plenty of natural wood and a roomy outdoor space, it's a taste of Milan on Hudson Street. Among the ample versions of crostini, try the rich chicken liver and the ricotta and orange honey. Pastas are limited but still pull their weight, especially the chicken ravioli with mushrooms and sage. Also of note, the cheeky Parmesan and pepper flatbread (a spin on the traditional pasta dish) and a hearty Heritage osso buco. The famed 'inoteca tramezzini, with egg salad and salmon, only makes an appearance at brunch.
