Das Ethiopian Cuisine Restaurant Review:

Located in the former Zed’s Ethiopian Cuisine space, Georgetown’s Das has the same pristine, white-tablecloth décor and a full bar. Upstairs dining commands a good view of M Street traffic, but on either floor, you will find a full array of Ethiopian dishes. Start with the shrimp appetizer (also offered as an entrée), which is served with spongy injera bread as are all courses. Plan to use your fingers, as well as the injera, to dine on fiery doro wat (chicken stew) or its beef counterpart. You may also prefer an all-vegetable menu, and you will find such dishes as collards, lentils, carrots, eggplants and split peas, alone or in combination. For dessert, you will need to find out what’s on the menu for the day; it may be as simple as a scoop of sorbet.
