Dodici Restaurant Review:
Dodici offers a unique experience in the neighborhood. Passersby may be lured in by the homey ambience of the place. The candlelit venue is a popular choice for celebrations, with an extensive and flavorful Italian menu. Standard starters range from baked clams to fried calamari and a caprese salad. Mains include house-made pasta with a variety of sauces, including ravioli with ricotta and tomato sauce; cannelloni with veal, chicken and spinach; and gnocchi Bolognese. Pastas are also available gluten-free. Panini and pizzas round out this portion of the menu, though there is also a large variety of meat dishes, such as veal fontinella, chicken scarpariello and Tuscan chicken. Desserts include some tableside options like bananas Foster; you’ll also find classic tiramisu and panna cotta as well as a rich, unique Italian cheesecake crème brûlée. Management, warm and doting, makes guests feel right at home.
