Dos Caminos Third Avenue Restaurant Review:
Great for groups, the expansive, contemporary and colorful Dos Caminos Third Avenue provides a festive backdrop for tasty Mexican food and margaritas made with any of the 150-plus kinds of tequila on offer. Tableside-made guacamole is a must-have, and you can’t go wrong with any of the ceviches --- tuna, red snapper and baby octopus, or a trio of all three. For main courses, Dos Caminos serves up old favorites (tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas) as well as house specialties like Mexican barbecued goat, chile-lime yogurt and ginger-pickled napa; or try the rib-eye steak with apple wood-smoked bacon, cipollini onions and poblano chilies. Lunch and weekend brunch aren’t quite as rowdy, and in the warmer months a sunny patio provides ample outdoor space for drinks or dining.
