If you’re looking for a healthy breakfast without all the fluff, head to The Egg & I. In addition to eggs prepared every way you can imagine, wheat pancakes, home-style biscuits and gravy, and corned beef hash are served up too. A kids’ menu presents choices like Kiki’s Favorite with one egg, one slice of bacon or sausage, ranch potatoes and whole-wheat toast. Breakfast is served until closing, but you can opt for a burger, turkey sandwich or classic club for lunch as well. Note: Noise levels are controlled and you can actually hear conversation. Pluses are free WiFi and discounts for seniors and military.
