This beautifully rehabbed industrial building houses two options for escaping the daily grind. For the athletically inclined, there’s a climbing gym on the first two floors; for the food-lover, there’s a restaurant on the next two. The open kitchen lets customers watch the action on the main floor; upstairs in the lounge, a quieter mood prevails. Both levels open to west-facing patios, perfect for soaking up a sunset with a local craft beer or cocktail, like the Savoy 75 (gin, lemon, mint and sparkling wine). For lunch, you can’t go wrong with a seasonal salad and a side of chicken velvet soup. For dinner, choose from small plates like the butternut squash fritters with mole poblano and large plates of skate wing with savory bread pudding or scallops with squid ink, chorizo, saffron couscous and beets. Late-night lounge hours make this a good destination for nibbles of cheese, house-made charcuterie and chicken wings. And if indulging in a dessert like crème brûlée or lime curd with meringue has you feeling like a bit of exercise, there’s always the climbing gym downstairs.
