Graeter's Restaurant Review:
Started by a German immigrant in 1870, Graeter's is a family business and the ice cream is still made by a laborious process in which workers use hand-carved paddles to scrape the ice cream from French pots. Black raspberry chip, a signature flavor, contains chocolate pieces as big as boulders. Regulars know when it's time for seasonal tastes, such as peach or pumpkin, and always come around for the summer sorbets. If you just can't decide, you can try any flavor for free or order a trio of mini cones.
