J. Morgan's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

A mainstay in Vermont’s capital city for years, J. Morgan's Steakhouse draws families and politicos alike. Situated in the locally owned Capital Plaza just a few doors down from the Vermont State House, the massive J. Morgan’s menu includes everything from a hearty barbecue bacon burger to artichoke and feta flatbread and Mediterranean salad topped with grilled chicken. And then there are the steaks --- New York strip, teriyaki beef and filet mignon. If you really want to indulge, try the bacon-wrapped filet served with a caramelized onion blue cheese sauce. All entrées come with a salad, vegetable and potatoes or fries. J. Morgan’s wine list includes dozens of offerings from Italy, Australia, France and the U.S. Don’t forget dessert, either. After a big meal, the crème brûlée hits all the right notes. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure.
