The Jerk Pit Restaurant Review:

This take-out place is small, unpretentious and very Island-authentic. Of course, it makes the most sense to pick out something grilled, for lip-searing jerk pork is an island favorite and maybe Jamaica’s most identifiable dish. But when you can get an order of goat curry with rice and peas and a side of fried plantains, oxtails, garlic shrimp or veggie kebabs, you’re faced with some serious choices. The menu is limited to primarily assorted jerk dishes, but roast stuff fish or Mango Walk Salad (mild curried chicken salad on a bed of greens dressed with vinaigrette and mango chutney) might be right up your alley. For drinks, why not try out the smoothie-esque boonoonoonous, a blend of tropical fruits and juices, or coconut water. For another sweet touch, dessert offers banana bread and marble cake.
