La Picada Azuaya Restaurant Review:
This Ecuadorian mainstay in Queens is the perfect place to wake up and smell---and taste---the llapingachos (potato-cheese patties). If you're curious about Ecuadorian cuisine or are already a convert to it, plan a visit to this pleasant, unassuming restaurant in Jackson Heights, one of the city's most multicultural communities. We suggest the traditional dishes including soups and ceviches---the cow’s foot soup supposedly has special “energizing” powers. Be sure to sample the batidos (shakes), made from papaya, pineapple and other exotic fruit juices.
