Situated in a suburban strip center where you’d least expect to find one is this agreeable bistro, offering up many traditional French dishes in a casual, cheerful dining room with an open kitchen. The crêpes are good bets here, as are the wood-fired pizzas. For starters, you’ll find standards like escargots, frogs’ legs and pâtés, plus a soul-warming French onion soup with plenty of Gruyère baked on top. Entrées range from steak frites to lamb chops, and the pastas are quite reliable. The wine list is short and uninspired, but prices are hard to beat. Desserts lean more upscale, with items like crêpes Suzette, baked Alaska and soufflés that are worth the wait.
