THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Moore's Delicatessen Restaurant Review:

This agreeable deli is named after a place in San Francisco operated in the 1920s by the grandparents of owner Robert Moore, a former Dodger Stadium executive chef (his pâtissier wife, Christine, operates Pasadena’s Little Flower Candy Company). Solid corned beef and pastrami are consumed at plain wooden tables beneath contemporary lighting. The signature sandwich is the city hall: corned beef, pastrami or ham on rye with slightly melted Swiss cheese, coleslaw and Russian dressing. Its main problem is that the bread, which is not as sturdy as that found in most kosher-style delis, cannot quite support the heft of the sandwich. Breakfasts, featuring buttermilk pancakes with berries, breakfast burritos or smoked salmon scrambles, help pack the two small dining rooms. Unlike most delis, Moore’s offers a selection of handcrafted beers and ales, too.
