Old Florida Seafood House Restaurant Review:

Operated by the same owners since 1977, this unassuming local institution sets its tables with paper place mats and linen napkins in rooms paneled with knotty pine. Healthy portions make this the kind of family place where many entrées are best shared. Expect retro-’70s standards such as fried shrimp with twice-baked potatoes stuffed with cheese and bacon bits but also about 50 other menu items ensuring some healthful choices. Best known of all the dishes is the snapper New Orleans, sautéed and served with sliced mushrooms and artichoke hearts. For dessert, try the Philadelphia cheesecake. Skip the graham cracker-crusted Key lime pie; its filling is green, instead of authentic yellow.
