Sunday mornings in downtown Salt Lake City are quiet. Luckily for locals and visitors, The Other Place offers an enormous breakfast, lunch or dinner with a Greek slant. You’d never know from the nondescript, coffee shop interior, but this eatery serves up a mean marinated steak and eggs, mezedakia platter of Mediterranean tastes, lamb dishes and pastas. Plus, you get soup or salad, bread and baklava. Omelets (served all day) are made frittata-style and arrive with a pile of hash browns, toast or fluffy pancakes, or one may substitute cottage cheese. Non-breakfast-eaters will like the Greek salad, burger or hot sandwiches. Whatever you eat, you'll walk out satisfied.
