Park Slope Ale House Restaurant Review:
This neighborhood tavern in Park Slope is one of the most attractive brewpubs around, with old-fashioned ceiling fans run by an antique-pulley system. The fare --- mostly comfort food, like spicy Buffalo wings, fried pickles, homemade soups, burgers, and a hearty shepherd's pie --- is passable, but favorite brews made here include Park Slope's Pale Ale and Big Shippy's Barley Wine.
