In the midst of Philadelphia's large Brazilian community, this Northeast restaurant is an oasis of grilled meat and theatrical dining. The kitschy décor is crammed with a surplus of stuffed animals, but the churrasco is right on target --- from sirloin to sausage. If you don't want barbecue, there are many bean dishes, slow-braised short ribs with plantains, and a soup called bobo de camarao (with shrimp and potatoes). Bring your own beer or wine, and be sure to try the flan. Dining here is a good deal if you have a big appetite. On Saturdays, you can savor the traditional black bean and pork feijoada, a stew that is the national dish of Brazil.
