More than just a burger joint or local watering hole, this restaurant handcrafts burgers with the same care invested in the microbrews and bourbons that dominate an extensive drinks list. The proof lies in the concept's rapid expansion. Burger prep has been elevated to a near-religion here: patties --- not just hormone- and antibiotic-free beef, but chicken, turkey and pork --- are freshly ground and hand-shaped in-house daily. Toppings, including adventurous add-ons like lobster and eggs (fried), come from local suppliers when possible.
