THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Post 390 Restaurant Review:

Located on the edge of both the Back Bay and the South End, Post 390 has a view that offers glimpses of Trinity Church and the Hancock Tower. The restaurant’s interior is sleek and inviting with two floors of exposed brick and cozy fireplaces, not to mention an open kitchen. The comfort cuisine ranges from wild Atlantic halibut with lima beans and halibut fumet to a spice-rubbed strip steak with potatoes, asparagus and charred cipollini. For an appetizer, consider the Maine scallop crudo with a berry and jalapeño salsa. Herb-roasted chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. On the first floor, The Tavern’s menu features crunchy oysters; The Full Parcel Burger with bacon, cheddar and more; and a mezze board for the table. For worker bees, meanwhile, there are sandwiches, salads, burgers, flatbreads and entrées. Expect a buzzing bar scene, both upstairs and down, and a slightly spicier cocktail list to go along with it.
