The Rail Restaurant Review:

The Rail at Great Northern Mall inhabits a large space that gives off a chic vibe with gleaming subway tiles and plenty of roomy booths. The menu is delightfully uncomplicated, focusing primarily on beer and burgers made with beef from Ohio-grazed cows. However, the open kitchen also turns out sandwiches, salads and an array of monthly specials. To start, try the loaded bonfire fries topped with a creamy pepper jack sauce and fried corn-dusted jalapeños. From there, choose any one of the gourmet burgers, which are grilled over an open flame, and have it prepared medium-rare. We like the monthly specials, but the Crouching Burger {Hidden Bacon}, with its Ohio thick-cut bacon and rich rail sauce, is a safe play no matter the day. Sides are à la carte; go for the house-made chips. Drinks are creative and clever. Beers are well-chosen with many craft selections. For dessert (or to drink), consider the hand-dipped milkshakes, like the peanut butter brownie. Service is attentive and helpful.
